Ever since I can remember I have loved to pick out seasonal books to read to my littles and for so many reasons. It’s become a ritual to sit down together and enjoy the quiet of the morning with a good read. Seasonal books help to slowly establish the calendar year for littles and teach them how to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature. Each book helps to remind us of all of the little intricacies that we see change and take shape in every fresh new season. We learn the necessity for each new cycle. And talk about nostalgia as the books come and go from season to season… bringing the same books back come next Autumn will bring so much joy to your little ones’ hearts.
Here is a list I have conjured up that brings on all the feels come Autumn. My littles are all under the age of seven so expect these all to cater to a younger audience. I hope you find that little spark of magic inside children’s stories as do I. Immerse yourself with your children into the land of the season in which you are in. I am sure you will find some gems of your own in there.
